GISD Liberty Battalion

Serving as a C/Seaman in the GISD Liberty Battalion, I've found that NJROTC challenges me in ways no other program does. From the discipline of drill and formation to the mental rigor of the Academic Bowl and the hands-on engineering of SeaPerch ROV competitions, every aspect of this program pushes me to grow. Being awarded the DAR JROTC Medal — recognizing academic excellence, dependability, military discipline, leadership, and patriotism — and earning the Naval Science 1 Completion Medal at the 2026 Awards Night are among the honors I'm most proud of.
